Sales Executive

Purpose of Role

To provide first line client service support generating new business and renewals, to mid-term adjustments and underwriting to all mutual and scheme members. You will be responsible for generating new business from the first call to accepting cover to meet new business targets

Objectives

  • Handle inbound quotes and calls to generate business
  • Provide new quotations to potential clients, converting them into new business
  • Underwriting the risks with the role’s authority, and issue accurate documentation
  • Keeping systems accurate and up to date
  • Meeting and exceeding company targets; including new business, call, and QA targets

Skills/Knowledge

Computer literate with knowledge of MSO

Excellent written & oral communication

An understanding of FCA regulatory issues surrounding mutuality

Ability to make decisions within agreed authority levels, and refer up as required

Educated to GCSE level with Grade C or above in Maths & English

Educated to A-level or the equivalent work experience (desired)
