We have a fantastic opportunity for a sales executive to join our Client Services team in Tunbridge Wells. This role will be responsible for first line client service support generating new business and renewals, to mid-term adjustments and underwriting to all mutual and scheme members. You will be responsible for generating new business from the first call to accepting cover to meet new business targets.

Duties

  • Handle inbound quotes and calls to generate business
  • Provide new quotations to potential clients, converting them into new business
  • Underwriting the risks with the role’s authority, and issue accurate documentation
  • Keeping systems accurate and up to date
  • Meeting and exceeding company targets; including new business, call, and QA targets

Skills/Knowledge

Experience in a customer service/call centre environment is essential

Good standard of education with Grade C or above in Maths and English.

Experience working in Financial Services, or a desire and motivation to do so.

Previous experience within the insurance industry in a sales role, preferably with commercial combined or SME risks (desirable).

Experience in meeting new business targets (desirable).

Excellent written and oral communication.

Ability to use initiative.

Highly motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.

Ability to manage high workloads in an organised manner.

Driven to achieve high standards of customer service.

Team player who is comfortable working in a small team environment.

Flexible attitude, enthusiasm to learn.

High attention to detail.
