Member Service Agent

Purpose of Role

To provide first line client service support to all mutual and scheme members. To meet renewal retention targets. You will be responsible for serving our existing customers.

Objectives

  • Accurately process renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Handle inbound calls, answering customer queries, and outbound calls, to obtain required information
  • Keep systems accurate & up-to-date, and issue accurate documentation in a timely fashion
  • Meet and exceed Company targets, e.g. renewal retention, and calls
  • Develop sound knowledge of the products offered

Skills/Knowledge

Computer literate, including MS Office knowledge

Excellent written & oral communication

Ability to use initiative

Able to accurately communicate the structure of RMML managed mutuals to Members

An understanding of FCA regulatory issues surrounding mutuality

Educated to GCSE level with grade C or above in Maths and English

A-level educated or equivalent work experience is desirable
